July Uprising Memorial Museum
“A movement that began with a demand for justice, ended with the birth of a new aspiration.”
In July 2024, Bangladesh witnessed a monumental mass uprising. What started as a student-led quota reform movement quickly evolved into a nationwide resistance against fascism. Despite brutal crackdowns, the spirit of the citizens remained unbroken, filling the streets with graffiti, slogans, and an unyielding call for democracy. In these 36 days of bravery, thousands sacrificed their lives to rewrite the nation’s destiny.
